I AM SEVDA...

"My name is Sevda. As long as I can remember, I've always had a pen in my fingers and endless sentences in my mind. In middle school, in the 7th grade, the second-place award I won at the provincial level transformed that small spark in my child's heart into a torch. Since then, I've never stopped; every book I've read, every new person who has entered my life has taught me something, preparing me for the final destination of this great journey."
For me, writing was about finally bringing that endless traveler within me to its destination. But life sometimes has a cruel habit of shattering our plans overnight.
February 6th... That night, not only the buildings, but everything I had put off until tomorrow, was buried under the rubble. In that moment when I felt the cold breath of death on my neck, when I realized my life was hanging by a thread, I understood something: procrastination is a betrayal of oneself.
I survived, but not as the old Sevda. After that shock, I clung to my pen even more tightly. If I were to leave this world one day, I wanted to leave behind a piece of me, a reflection of my soul. My book is my way of holding onto life; a victory I won against my fears. Now there is no more waiting, only writing and leaving a mark on eternity with that work."
